My order was carefully packed and arrived on time and in good order.I am pleased with the quality, fit and finish. Everything is snug. I am impressed with the weight and blade shape. It's plenty sharp. The blade is a little longer than I expected thus a pleasant surprise. The hilt is nicely wrapped and comfortable to hold. The sheath is well made and nicely lacquered.I'm sure I'll have some other comments as I put it to use but for now I'm happy. Would I buy it again—absolutely!Now that I've had a few days of practice with this katana I'm liking it more and more. Everything is still tight—no rattle or buzz. I've found that it weighs just under three pounds so it doesn't take much effort to hear the iconic whoosh sound as the blade cuts the air. I've not tried lopping off limbs or decapitation as yet. But, hey, you never know when it might become handy (limbs, handy—get it?)I suggest keeping a microfiber or flannel cloth near by to keep the blade clean and dry. 1095 steel can stain or rust if not cared for.UPDATE:It's been a couple of weeks since my katana arrived. I have been using it everyday. Still no rattle or buzz. Even when doing kaiten chiburai which calls for rapping the handle with a fist after spinning the katana to "shake off the blood." I love my katana more and more every day. The soul of the sword smith is imprinted on the blade. Now my own soul is making its mark. I've named my katana 魂のコレクター Tamashī no korekutā (The Soul Collector).
