Back in the Mexican country women used to make tortillas out of cooked and ground corn converted to masa. This mural shows a typical environment where the tortillas are made. The corn is ground in the stone, made into circular shapes and put on the comal (pan) to cook. You will be delighted with this addition to one of your walls, either indoors or outdoors it will definitely enhance your place and will give your place a sense of warm color. This mural is composed of 63 pieces: 35 for the main picture, 24 side frame tiles, and 4 corner tiles. The frame tiles are Royal Crown Talavera Mexican Tile. Important Note: You will get the tiles in a box, the mural is not mounted to a board. If you want a board, lets us know, we can mount it for you for an extra fee.This tile is handmade and fired to high temperatures to get a very solid and consistent piece of clay. This clay tile is just an example of the exquisite beauty the Mexican craftsmen put on each item they create. It is hand-painted, this means that no two tile murals are exactly alike! Small differences in size, weight and the colors are expected.
